Bethlehem Kudumb Unit arrived in Malayalam two weeks ago, and I finally watched the Telugu version.

Honestly, the film didn’t quite work for me. Despite having a runtime of around two and a half hours, it felt much longer, almost like watching a four-hour film.

The movie carries the typical Malayalam flavour, but unfortunately, it lacks the fresh feel I expected. The comedy has a few entertaining moments, but nothing really memorable.

Regular movie lovers might enjoy it, but my expectations were probably a little too high. Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju perform well and are among the positives. Overall, it didn’t impress me.

A Gen-Z girl meets a 90s boy — and that contrast becomes the soul of this love story. Her playful chaos and his innocent charm create some genuinely fresh and enjoyable moments.

Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju make a lovely pair on screen. Their chemistry feels natural, and both performances stay grounded without trying too hard. The film also scores visually. No massive elevations. No unnecessary action. Just love, comedy, emotions and good vibes.

Final Verdict: Simple in scale, refreshing in feel.

బెత్లెహెం కుటుంబ యూనిట్ చూసిన తర్వాత నాకు అనిపించింది ఒక్కటే.. simple stories కూడా right wayలో చెబితే ఎంత cuteగా ఉంటాయో ఈ సినిమా చూపించింది. Gen-Z అమ్మాయి, 90s అబ్బాయి.. ఈ combination itself interestingగా అనిపిస్తుంది. అమ్మాయిలోని అల్లరి, అబ్బాయిలోని innocenceని చాలా naturally blend చేసిన సీన్స్ freshగా అనిపించాయి.

నివిన్ పౌలీ & మమిత జంట screen మీద చాలా naturalగా ఉంది. ఇద్దరి chemistry, performances సినిమాకు major plus. ఇక visuals అయితే Kerala beautyని చాలా beautifully capture చేశాయి. Production design, costumes అన్నీ simpleగా ఉన్నా storyకి perfectగా suit అయ్యాయి.

No unnecessary elevations, no over-the-top action.. just a feel-good love story with comedy & emotions.

Overall: Cute, refreshing & easy-going romantic entertainer.

Predictable and derivative, Romanchakam fails to breathe fresh life into its blend of romance, suspense, and humor. The screenplay runs on auto-pilot, offering zero surprises from start to finish.

For a film centered on love, the romance feels empty—crippled by weak lead dynamics and a complete lack of emotional depth. Rather than wrapping up cleanly, the climax descends into chaotic confusion, testing the audience's patience instead of engaging them.

Weak editing and flat dialogues further drag down the narrative. Ultimately, Romanchakam misses the mark across all fronts, offering a tedious cinematic experience.

Romantic movie ani cheppina, actual romance almost missing. Hero-heroin madhya chemistry weak ga undadam, convincing love scenes lekapovadam valla emotional connect assalu build avvaledu.

Climax ayithe movie ni inka confuse chesindi. Logic kanna confusion ekkuva, impact kanna frustration ekkuva. Editing & dialogues kuda sharp ga lekapovadam minus point.

just now finished Romanchakam first show. trailer chusi oka youthful romantic comedy ani expectations create chesindi. But movie chusina tarvatha aa expectations complete ga satisfy avvaledane feeling vastundi.

Story-wise, routine love track ki suspense and comedy elements add chesaru. Concept lo novelty limited ga undadam, screenplay predictable ga move avvadam major drawbacks. Chala situations mundhe guess chesestam.

Romantic angle kuda expected level lo establish avvaledu. Hero-heroin madhya chemistry ni elevate chese strong scenes lekapovadam valla love track impact taggindi.

However, movie completely disappointing ani cheppalem. Konni comedy portions genuine ga entertain chestayi.

Overall: A routine romantic drama with occasional laughs, but lacks the freshness and emotional connect needed to make a strong impact.

ట్రైలర్‌, సాంగ్స్ చూసి రోమాంచకం యూత్‌ఫుల్ రొమాంటిక్ కామెడీ అనుకున్నా… సినిమా మాత్రం ఆ రేంజ్‌లో లేదు. రొటీన్ లవ్ స్టోరీకి సస్పెన్స్‌, కామెడీ యాడ్ చేసి కొత్తగా చూపించే ప్రయత్నం చేశారు. కానీ కథలో వచ్చే ట్విస్టులు, సీన్స్ చాలావరకు ముందే గెస్ చేసేయొచ్చు.

రొమాన్స్ విషయానికి వస్తే.. ప్రమోషన్స్‌లో ఉన్నంత లవ్ సినిమాలో కనిపించదు. హీరోహీరోయిన్ల మధ్య కెమిస్ట్రీ కూడా పెద్దగా వర్కౌట్ కాలేదు.

క్లైమాక్స్ అయితే కొంత కన్ఫ్యూజింగ్‌గా అనిపించింది. ఎడిటింగ్‌, డైలాగ్స్‌పై ఇంకాస్త ఫోకస్ పెట్టి ఉంటే బెటర్ అవుట్‌పుట్ వచ్చేది.

అయితే అక్కడక్కడా కామెడీ మాత్రం నవ్విస్తుంది.

‘కికు చిరంజీవి’ (Kiku chiranjeevi) Movie ఇప్పుడే చూసి వచ్చాను. పెద్దగా expectations పెట్టుకోకుండా వెళ్తే ఒకసారి engage చేసే సినిమా అనిపించింది. movie lo heroను విలన్లు చంపడానికి కాల్చినా అతను ఎందుకు చనిపోడు? అసలు దాని వెనుక reason ఏంటి? అనేది movie లో main point. ఆ twist ఆసక్తికరంగా అనిపించింది. suspence, thriller elements తో పాటు fun, romance, action కూడా బాగానే ఉన్నాయి.

heart ఎడమ వైపు కాకుండా కుడివైపు ఉండటం అనే పాయింట్ కూడా కొత్తగా అనిపించింది. story పరంగా మంచి ఐడియా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, దాన్ని తెరపై ఎగ్జిక్యూట్ చేసిన విధానంలో అక్కడక్కడా కొంత తడబాటు కనిపిస్తుంది. కొన్ని సీన్లు ఇంకా బాగా చూపించి ఉంటే impact మరింత వచ్చేది.

అయితే twist లు, climax లో వచ్చే ఎమోషన్ సినిమాకు ప్లస్. ఓవరాల్‌ గా naku ‘కికు చిరంజీవి’ ఫర్వాలేదనిపించింది.

I just finished watching the movie *Kiku Chiranjeevi*. It is far better than some of the worst movies I have seen recently. *Kiku Chiranjeevi* is a unique thriller featuring an interesting blend of romance, emotion, action, and plot twists. The premise—featuring a heart located on the right side of the body instead of the left—is quite novel.

The lead actor, Kiku Yanamala, delivered a good performance. Director Shubha Sai Venkat did a great job steering the narrative. The climax leaves the audience with a pleasant, feel-good vibe. Ultimately, this film will appeal to those who enjoy thrillers with unique concepts. Personally, I really liked it.

జస్ట్ ఇప్పుడే కికు చిరంజీవి మూవీ చూసి వచ్చాను. లాస్ట్ వీక్ ఇరుముడి మూవీ హడావిడిలో ఉన్నాను. ఈ వీక్ వేరే మూవీకి వెళదామని అందరూ టాక్సిక్ వెళ్దాం అని ఫ్రెండ్స్ అంటే, ఆ మూవీ టాక్ ముందే తెలిసి... ఈ మూవీకి తీసుకెళ్ళా. మూవీ చుశాక వీళ్ళని చిరంజీవి మూవీకి తీసుకొచ్చి మంచి పనే చేసాను అనిపించింది. 

సినిమా ఒక సస్పెన్స్ థ్రిల్లర్ డ్రామాగా బాగానే తీశారు. కానీ కొన్ని థ్రిల్ మూమెంట్స్ ని ఇంకా ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ గా చూపించి ఉండాల్సింది. అయితే ఈ మూవీమీద అసలు నేనేం ఎక్సపెక్టేషన్స్ పెట్టుకోకుండా చూసాను కాబట్టి ఈ మూవీ నాకు నచ్చింది. అండ్ టాక్సిక్ లాంటి కళాఖండంతో కంపేర్ చేస్తే ఇది చాలా బెటర్ మూవీ. డైరెక్టర్ పేరు కూడా తెలీదు కానీ అతను బాగానే హ్యాండిల్ చేసాడు. మంచి స్టోరీ పాయింట్ ను రాసుకున్నాడు. కాకపోతే స్క్రీన్ ప్లే ఇంకా బాగా రాసుకోవాల్సింది. ఏది ఏమైనా ఈ వారం ఎవరైనా మంచి మూవీకి వెళ్దాం అనుకుంటే, ఆ టాక్సిక్ ని పక్కనబెట్టి ఈ చిరంజీవి సినిమాకెళ్ళండి.
