The movie "The India Story," which I just watched, falls into this category.

The filmmakers intended to highlight the health issues caused by consuming chemically processed food, but they failed to present even a single point in an engaging manner; instead, the film bored me to the point of falling asleep in the theater.

I stayed until the very end only because I have a lot of patience, but honestly, even watching this movie on an OTT platform would feel like too much.

జెనరల్ గా మంచి కాన్సెప్ట్ ఉన్న మెసేజ్ ఓరియెంటెడ్ మూవీస్ రావంటారు. వస్తేనేమో చూడరంటారు కొంతమంది మూవీ లవర్స్. వచ్చాక మంచి మూవీస్ ని ఎంకరేజ్ చేద్దామని థియేటర్కి వస్తే జుండుబామ్ రాసుకునేలా చేస్తారు. 

ఇప్పుడు నేను చూసిన "ది ఇండియా స్టోరీ" మూవీ కూడా అలాంటిదే. జనాలు కెమికల్ ఫుడ్ తినడం వల్ల ఎలాంటి ప్రాబ్లమ్స్ వస్తాయో సినిమాలో చెప్దామని అనుకున్నారు. కానీ ఒక్క పాయింట్ కూడా ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ వే లో చెప్పలేక నేను థియేటర్లో నిద్రపోయేలా చేసారు. ఏదో నాకు ఓపిక ఎక్కువ కాబట్టి మొత్తం ఫినిష్ అయ్యే వరకు థియేటర్లో ఉన్నా, గాని ఈ సినిమా ఓటిటిలో చూడడం కూడా ఎక్కువే అనిపించింది. 

నిన్ననే ది ఇండియా స్టోరీ మూవీ చూసా. పెద్దగా డబ్బింగ్ సినిమాలు చూడను. కానీ ట్రైలర్ చూస్తే ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ గా అనిపించింది. ఆహార పదార్థాల్లో కల్తీ, పంట పొలాల్లో పరిమితికి మించి క్రిమిసంహారకాల వాడకం వల్ల ఎలాంటి నష్టం జరుగుతుంది అన్న అంశంతో తెరకెక్కిన సినిమా 'ది ఇండియా స్టోరీ'. 

కాన్సెప్ట్ బానే ఉన్నా, డైరెక్టర్ ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్ వే లో చెప్పలేకపోయాడు. నాకైతే మంచి కాన్సెప్ట్ అని అనిపించినా, థియేటర్లో నిద్రొచ్చేసింది. ఒకసారి చూసేలా ఉన్నా, ఎంటర్టైన్మెంట్ కోసం ఎవరైనా వస్తే ఈ సినిమా స్కిప్ చేసేయండి. ఓటిటి లో వచ్చాక చూస్కోండి.

ఆహార పదార్థాల్లో కల్తీ, పంట పొలాల్లో పరిమితికి మించి క్రిమిసంహారకాల వాడకం.. ప్రస్తుతం సమాజాన్ని వేధిస్తున్న తీవ్రమైన సమస్యల్లో ఇది ఒకటి. ఇలాంటి సామాజిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఉన్న అంశంతో తెరకెక్కిన సినిమా 'ది ఇండియా స్టోరీ'. అయితే "సమాజానికి అత్యంత కీలకమైన అంశాన్ని ఎంచుకున్నప్పటికీ, కేవలం ఉద్వేగాలను వాడుకోవాలనే తాపత్రయంలో దర్శకుడు కథనాన్ని దారితప్పించారు" అని విశ్లేషకులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.

అయితే ఈ సినిమాను చూడటం అంత సులభం కాదు. థియేటర్ నుంచి బయటకు వచ్చేటప్పుడు మనసు భారంగా ఉంటుంది. ఎన్నో ప్రశ్నలు మదిలో మెదులుతుంటాయి. బహుశా మీరు తీసుకునే ఆహారం పట్ల మీ ఆలోచన కూడా మారుతుంది. ఓవరాల్‌గా చెప్పాలంటే ది ఇండియా స్టోరీ అనేది నిజాయితీతో కూడిన ఆలోచింపజేసే కోర్ట్ డ్రామా అని నెటిజన్ రివ్యూ ఇచ్చారు.

Just watched #Karmakhya... concept bagundi but execution matram disappoint chesindi.

Movie motham superstition valla life ela spoil avuthundo ane point meedha untundi. Message manchide, but screenplay slow ga undadam valla thrill antha workout avvaledu. Twists kuda easy ga guess cheyochu.

Horror thriller anukoni velthe definitely disappoint avtharu. Horror ledu, supernatural elements kuda almost levu. Suspense build-up kante lag ekkuva anipinchindi.

Different concept try chesinanduku appreciation undi... kani overall ga cinema expected impact ivvaledu. One-time watch anthe.

Watched #Karmakhya with decent expectations, but it didn't quite work for me.

The concept about how superstition ruins lives is interesting, but the execution feels underwhelming. The screenplay moves slowly, the twists are predictable, and the suspense never reaches the level it promises.

If you're expecting a horror or supernatural thriller, you'll probably be disappointed. The film has a good message, but it lacks the gripping moments needed to keep you fully invested. A bold idea, but the storytelling could have been much sharper. overall one time watchable.. better to shift ott

Walked into #Karmakhya with absolutely no expectations... walked out genuinely impressed.

The biggest win for me was its message about the dangerous impact of superstition. Instead of relying on cheap horror or jump scares, the film keeps the focus on a thought-provoking idea wrapped in a mystery thriller.

The biggest surprise? Finding out it was directed by Jabardasth Adhire Abhi after the movie. That's a solid leap as a filmmaker, and he definitely deserves appreciation.

If we keep supporting films with fresh concepts like this, we'll get more meaningful thrillers instead of the same old formula.

Just watched #Karmakhya and honestly, I loved it.

I went in with zero expectations, just looking to kill some time. But I was genuinely surprised to find out later that it was directed by Jabardasth Adhire Abhi. Didn't expect this kind of storytelling from him—huge respect!

At a time when comedy-horror is everywhere, it's refreshing to see a filmmaker attempt a serious mystery thriller with a meaningful concept. Definitely worth watching if you're into content-driven thrillers.

ఫస్ట్ అఫ్ అల్ కర్మాఖ్య సినిమా అయితే నాకు బాగా నచ్చింది. సినిమాలో మెయిన్ గా మూఢ నమ్మకాల కారణంగా మనుషుల జీవితాలు ఎలా నాశనం అవుతున్నాయనే పాయింట్‌ ను ఈ సినిమాలో ప్రధానంగా చెప్పడం జరిగింది. ఏదైతే నాకు బాగా నచ్చింది. 

అండ్ ఈ సినిమా ఎదో టైంపాస్ కి చూద్దామని ఏదో అలా వెళ్ళిపోయా. కానీ చూసాక సినిమా డైరెక్ట్ చేసింది జబర్దస్త్ అదిరే అభి అని తెలిసి షాకయ్యా. తనలో ఇంత టాలెంట్ ఉండడం మంచి విషయం. చాలా మంది కామెడీ హారర్ థ్రిల్లర్ కాన్సెప్ట్ లో సినిమాలు బాగుంటాయంటారు గాని, సీరియస్ థ్రిల్లర్ గా ఇలాంటి కాన్సెప్ట్ ఉన్న మూవీస్ నిజంగా ఈ జెనరేషన్ కి కావాలి. మూఢ నమ్మకాల మధ్యలో నలిగిపోయే వారికీ ఈ సినిమా చూస్తే కనువిప్పు కలగాలి.
